- Staff
- 1.1. Program director
- PCS fellow

- Member of at least 1 of the ff: IHPBA, AHPBA, E-BHPBA
- 1.2. Faculty ( at least 2)

- Member of PAHPBSI
- Case Material 100 Major HPB cases in 2 years (60 variety HPB Cases) where the fellow perform the operation independently or perform the critical part of the operation.
- 2.1. Minimum Requirements:
- 2.1.1. Liver (20)
- Major Hepatectomy
- Segment-Specific Anastomotic Resection
- 2.1.2. Pancreas (20)
- Pancreaticoduodenectomies
- Distal Pancreatectomies Pancreatic Drainage Procedures
- Distal Pancreatectomies Pancreatic Drainage Procedures
- 2.1.3. Biliary Tract (20)
- Ampullary or Bile Duct Resections
- Biliary Anastomosis (Intra-and Extrahepatic)
- 2.2. Liver Transplantation (50 cases)
- 2.2.1. Liver Transplant- 30
- 2.2.2. Donor Procurement- 20
- 2.3. Policies on External Rotation- Foreign or Local institution:
- 2.3.1. External Rotations are OPTIONAL
- 2.3.2. Only second year fellows are allowed to rotate outside of the sponsoring institution provided that the fellow has completed at least 75% of the required index cases
- 2.3.3. The rotation site must be a recognized high–volume center in HPB
- 2.3.4. Rotation/s must be within the period of the Fellowship Training Program
- 2.3.5. The maximum period of rotation must not exceed 6 months total
- 2.3.6. Observership Programs and Intensive Seminar Workshop with certification from globally-recognized HPB Centers are acceptable rotations
- 2.3.7. Cross-linkages among local training institution are highly encouraged
