5th Dr. Menandro V. Siozon (MVS) Memorial Lecture
PAHPBS is proud to present the 5th Dr. Menandro V. Siozon (MVS) Memorial Lecture on December 2, 2024 at the PCS Annual Convention PAHPBS Session, 2PM Palawan Ballroom, EDSA Shangri-la, Philippines.
Dr. Menandro V Siozon or “MVS” continues to shine his guiding light upon all those whom he welcomed & nurtured with his wisdom, surgical prowess, & compassion. His legacy lives on in the innumerable surgical trainees who learned from him, especially that in performing safe pancreatic surgery. A Founding Trustee of PAHPBS & Former Chair of the Philippine Board of Surgery, Dr Siozon is a pillar in Philippine HPB Surgery.
This year’s distinguished speaker, who will be delivering the 5th MVS Memorial Lecture about The Current Status of Minimally Invasive Pancreatic Surgery is Prof. Takao Ohtsuka. He is well-known for his researches in the field of pancreatic surgery & is currently the Chair of the Department of Digestive Surgery, Kagoshima National University Hospital of Japan.
